#1 Real-time billing for Service Provider
Since the end of Feb 2018, when Customer makes a transaction, Cost and Earning are added/ deducted to your B3networks account immediately.

Impacts of the change

  • The credit flow in your B3 account is instant.
  • The Earning and Cost of same month will appear on one monthly tax invoice.
  • Customer cannot make any transaction if your B3 account does not have enough credit to pay for the cost. Please ensure your B3 wallet always have sufficient credit.

 

#2 Types of credits
The portal shows 2 kinds of credits: Available credit and Total credit.

  • Available credit: the amount can be used for call, SMS, DNC or subscription
  • Total credit: the amount stored in the wallet
  • The difference between Available credit and Total credit is Reserved credit.

Impacts of the change

  • Available credit presents since the beginning. It has been hidden until this release.
  • Reserved credit is caused by an ongoing transaction. If the transaction is successful, Reserved credit is deducted; otherwise, it is returned to the Available credit.
  • This UI change affects both your B3 account and your customer accounts.
  • The Total credit is used to trigger auto-topup.



#3 Changes in tax settings
We have separated the tax amount from the total Price and Cost in Product app.

Impacts of the change

  • Cost and Price in Product app are now Pre-tax price. 
  • You need to select an applicable Tax for new SKUs. Leave all boxes empty if no tax is applied.

 

  • Tax settings can be configured at Invoice app or Tax tab at Portal settings app.

 


#4 Pay Invoice with Customer credits (Points)

Invoice can be paid with the credits in Customer account.

Impacts of the change

  • You can deduct the credits in your Customer account for the invoice when they do not manage to send a cheque or do a bank transfer.
  • How to do: Go to Invoice app > Select an awaiting payment invoice > Add payment to that invoice > Choose Credit > Key in the info and Save.
